I'm surprised to see your question. Did your surgeon not tell you the post-surgery care for your eye(s)? If not, that is quite strange. I have never heard that you cannot resume all activities, except for keeping water and makeup off your face for one week, after laser eye surgery. I had this done myself, and that is all I had to do. MY job was 100% computer work, and I went back to it the very next day. Since your doctor apparently did not tell you how to care for your post-surgery eye(s), here's what to do. Keep water out of of by holding a folded DRY towel over it while you wash your hair. Use a washcloth to wash your face, and do NOT wear makeup of any kind for one week. Wear the hard plastic patch to bed (if you did not get one of these, your doctor is a quack and you should NEVER go back) to keep yourself from rolling over on that eye or rubbing against it. Your cornea is just a loose flap right now and is not healed back yet. If you move it, you could damage your eyesight for LIFE. And I would not go back to a doctor who did surgery on me and gave me no instructions. Very careless.

Better be extra careful. Don't stress your eyes for at-least 1 month.
Ask your doctor for more specific instructions. Eyes are very sensitive and important. Don't take any risks!

You need to ask this question of your eye doctor, it is too important a question to rely on the answers from strangers.
