Is the Wal-Mart Vision Care Center any good?Do they provide good service and quality? I read some complaints, they made the vision care sound horrible. Should I go elsewhere for it?

The one i went to was really good. I'm sure it is different at each wal mart though.

The optical departments of Walmarts and Costco are owned by the same people.
For those who really aren't fussy about quality, or are very easy to please , then that chain fits that niche.
They do usually have fairly low prices for those who are stuck on a tight budget...but you only get what you pay for.
They like to make people believe they are getting quality for less, but that isn't the case. It's actually, less for less.

Service will not be as good as you would recieve at a private practice, but if your going for price than wal-mart would be a good choice. An even better choice would be buying a pair for $ 28 at http://www.myspecsdirect.com. I bought from them about 2 months ago and got them in 4 days... Walmart cant beat that price. And I love my new glasses!
