Saving Grant Cottage

Ulysses S. Grant spent the final five weeks of his life writing his memoirs in a small cottage in Upstate New York. Just three days after finishing the book, he died of a throat cancer. Today, that cottage is under the care of the Friends of Grant Cottage. The historic site has seen better days and is in need of much work. It is a significant historical site that needs help. In this video, Ken Tingley, Editor of The Post-Star in Glens Falls, NY gives viewers a tour of the cottage and outlines a vision of what it could be.
