How can I pass a color vision test?I need to pass a color vision test, but I am red green color blind. Not that bad but just enough that I cannot pass the test. I need to do this inorder to get a job position that I have been doing but now they finally want to train me on it. Any thoughts are a help!

The whole point of a color vision test is to make sure you are NOT color blind! These tests are only given if it is crucial to your job that you are able to differentiate colors! If you are not able to, you should not be doing that job. Being able to notice very slight differences in color can dramatically influence your ability to perform certain jobs to company standards. Don't try to 'slide through'- standards are in place for good reason. Try to find another position that you can excel at! Good luck!

I wish I could help you but I don't know how. I am fascinated by your question. I never really believed people were color blind like that. So, does that mean you can't tell the color of the grass or the leaves? How does a tomato look to you? Just curious.

Find out what test is to be given, find it & memorize it. I am blue/green & if I recall properly a colour vision test is composed of different coloured circles that make up simple pictures such as the letter A or a number. If you do not pass go to the labour board, your personell dept. or human services & fing out if red/green colour blindness is a factor in doing your job.
When you were hired was an ability to see all colours stated as a requirement for your job? If not then they probably can't terminate you from your position but if your job duties change so now it is necessary to see all colours then they might have to make adequate provisions for you to perform your job with your "disability", since they hired you with this condition.
Maybe you can get a waiver for your "health condition"
