is my hamster (who had pink eye) better yet?ok so i looked on the net and found out how to treat pink eye for my hammie! and i washed his eye...well dabbed it with a cotton swab and after a ew days it looked better =)
now his eye is halfway open, no sticky stuff around it but it has like a redish-brown sorta film on the bottom: kind of like when you first wake up and rub your eye and this yellowy stuf comes off :S
is my hamster getting better? do i need to wash that stuff off? HELP WHAT DO I DO!!

Well, if you can't afford a vet, then I would continue to home treat as best you can. Keep searching online for remedies, and do the cotton swab thing again, maybe like once a day, until it is better. I would try to get the stuff out, but don't go crazy. Sometimes all it needs is time. If in a week, it has not improved, then I would seriously consider a vet.
