I do have eyecare coverage, but is it better to "pay out of pocket" and go to America's best?...My wife said something about it being cheaper overall than our vision plan...Don't know if this makes sense but anyone have any insight?

I would think that would depend on how much difference it would cost you at a place where your insurance would cover a portion.

But remember, price isn't everything.

Do you want real cheap, or do you want quality ?

I spent around $ 200 for the eye exam and new glasses last week. Although I shopped online for my glasses. I'm not sure if you'd want to do that. I don't have insurance but I don't think I spent too much out of pocket.
