Honestly, one of the best ways is breast milk. So if you're breastfeeding, next feed put a little in their eyes.
Seriously it works and there's absolutely nothing in there that can hurt them

call your pediatrician my daughter was like 6 months old and had pink eyes and the hospital gave us sulfacetamide sodium ophthalmic solution and it worked great cleared up in couple days and yeah she didn't like us holding her head and eyes open to give her the drops after that she was fine.

I guess it depends what is wrong with his eye. The most likely reason is that he has a blocked tear duct. Is his eyes watery, and gunky?? If the tear duct is blocked, the tears have nowhere to go so his eye will be weepy. It is quite common in babies and ther isnt a lot you can do. My son has this problem on and off, and i use warm compresses on it and then massage his tears duct (kind of like your pinching the top of his nose. Gently!). I have had to use antibiotic ointment before and it worked really well. If you are worried, the easiest thing is to take him to the doctor and get it checked.

Usually breastmilk squirted into baby's eyes will clear up conjunctivitis. No need for other stuff.
