Get Lasik, I had it years ago and my eyes are still great. It's wonderful and it would be the best money you ever spent and over time you'll get your moneys worth.

Nearsightedness is caused by a combination of genetics and nearwork done as the eyes grow. The specific mechanism isn't well-understood, though. The cornea (front part of the eye that focuses light) ends up being too powerful for the length of the eye, usually as a result of the eye growing longer. It usually progresses through the teens and then stabilizes in the twenties. Then you may be able to get laser surgery for correction. Unfortunately until then, there really isn't much you can do. Your eyes will keep growing and changing, and no food, vitamin, or exercise can change that. Make sure to get checkups with your optometrist to update your prescription and make sure your eyes are healthy.
