False. The iris works the same as it dose in a camera, opening and closing to increase or diminish the amount of light entering the eye. Focusing is done by mussles attatched to the lense.

False. The colored part of the eye controls how much light enters the eye through the pupil. It is the lens that focuses imagines on the retina.
