How long can pink eye survive without a host?I know some germs die quite quickly without a host, what is an estimated range that pink eye bacteria can last on say a keyboard or pillow? Also, if you know the range for the virus that would be great.

If the surface is wet, the bacteria and viruses survive for days. but on dry surfaces like the sterile dry swab, they survive for few hours
