Is it possible to get health insurance with dental and vision care?Im sure it is, but most of the time the dental and vision care portion of the plan sucks. Is it smarter to get them seperatly even if you think you have perfect teeth and vision.

yes it is. i got it thru work because i got a great union, that said. it isnt all that great. it is very limited but hey at least the xrays and extractions and cleaning are free, but when it comes to denture work- nada! same with glasses, exam is free and glasses too, every 2 years and lower grade frames unless u want to anti up the balance on more expensive ones.

Absolutely, depending upon the state in which you live. Be prepared to pay a hefty price in certain states, however. It is cheaper in New Jersey, where I live, to just pay out of pocket for dental and eye care. Insurance premiums are very high here and with added eye and dental coverage, the premiums would take a couple of your entire paychecks, (or more, unless you are a highly-paid worker) unless your employer furnishes it for free or for a contribution. Beware of unscrupulous obscure "insurance" programs. Having lost about $ 24,000.00 to one many years ago I am especially wary.

Yes, you should buy separate dental, vision and health plans.
Generally, dental and vision are auxiliary benefits which means they are not the main focus of the plan, which is the health care portion.
Buying separate plans will, in theory, enable the plans to be more reliable.
This is very much like buying anything else. For example, if you buy a devise that includes a GPS, iPod, and cell phone, you would think that the GPS aspect of the devise would not be as reliable as going out and buying the device itself.
Perfect teeth and vision does not last forever, especially with increasing age, when health insurance no longer is an option, therefore I do not recommend that you let this affect your choice of insurance plan.
