I saw a vision a vision that was sweet when I first saw it
On a mission, a mission to change how we treat this planet,
But its beauty is cosmetic and its desires are corrupt
It claims to be prophetic yet its words are a construct.
Behind the veil of scientific secrecy is its true look
As a wedding march of hypocrisy is read from a book.
I accidentally caught a glimpse of the truth in full colour
And now have the evidence for much murderous horror.
Slow will be the turning of its tide from feared power
Slow will be the learning from this bride's final hour,
Her freedom lost is but a trick to the mind's eye
A great cost to the blind as they wave their goodbyes.
Their sacrifice forgotten with their bodies still burning
Laughter foreshortens a time honoured warning.
Who dares care is sucked into the morass of slaves
And their hearts are locked even unto their graves.
Sweet solace they crave as a salve to their wounds
But the Devils knave rubs salt in the grooves.
A prayer for the broken hearted escapes from their lips
And just for a moment the Devil's veil slips
A few more catch the glimpse that I saw before
And panic descends as they head for the door
At last he cries 'I am revealed, here's the proof,
But for you it's too late to raise the shield of truth.'

Did a minor mod and put up on UK site.
It is the vision that is corrupt in this case.

its a really good poem. i like reading it out loud. but i can't really understand it. just that man is destroying the world. i like how the world is substitued to as "her".

Bear in mind their is the Earth, Planet and World. World is the word that refers to Mankind's construct of relations with our planet.
Perhaps "Our World's beauty is cosmetic, it's desires corrupt"
