EyeMed vision care: what does it mean when it says Member Cost is "balance over 5"?This is for disposable contacts. Does this mean the insurance will pay for contact lens if the balance is less than $ 115? Just want to make sure I understand this correctly before going off and making an appointment.

it means that the insurance will cover up to $ 115 of the cost.
anything from $ 0-$ 115 will be paid by the insurance.
so if it ends up costing $ 200 then insuance will pay $ 115 and you will have to pay the other $ 85 out of your own pocket.
