No, not at all. Wearing glasses will make you aware of what your vision is really like uncorrected. It will not change your vision for better or for worse.

I have been wearing glasses for nearly 20 years and full time 15 years. My eyes have been getting worse each exam, until the last. I went for a contact lens fitting and I was told one of my eyes actually got better. He checked twice.
Wearing glasses too strong or too weak for ur sight may make ur sight worse.
Correct prescription is paramount.
